Diamond Jubilee 2012

The Diamond Jubilee is a celebration mark held for 60th anniversary in case of a monarch, which basically tells you the length of time they have reigned the throne. Queen Elizabeth II celebrates her 60 years since ascending the throne. Today she is the queen of 16 sovereign states, and has had the throne upon her fathers death, King George VI in 1952.

So how does she celebrate?
Well, first of all the celebration occurs throughout 2012. Man, isn't that just amazing. She won't be partying til 6 a.m. in the morning, but of course she celebrates in different ways like breakfast, lunch and dinner gatherings with the people in all of HER countries. Splendid right, like they say down here. It's not about how much money you got, more like, how many countries do you control mate? I got 16, and you? Yeah, take your time, I'll wait............that's what I thought, cheers for whatever you have mate.

Bank holiday?
A public holiday in all the United Kingdom where the population is granted time off work or extra pay for those days.

This year the bank holiday is from 2-5 June. Therefore it fits to have time off and at the same time get the chance to see the queen around the kingdom. On Monday 4th June a concert will be held at Buckingham Palace and a network of beacons will be lit throughout the UK and the Commonwealth. A service of Thanksgiving on Tuesday at St. Paul's Cathedral, followed by a carriage Procession. Today she is in Scotland for the Epsom Derby, horse racing, where she joins over 130,000 racegoers....... I don't know how I feel about watching a horse race, but some people love it. So if they're having fun, I'm having fun.

Keeping you updated worldwide!!!!! Expand your horizons.... :)
