Melo MVP?
Its way too early to say who's going to be the MVP in the NBA this season but a lot of people and sports analytics are predicting that it could be Carmelo Anthony from the New York Knicks. The difference between Melo this season and last season could be easy to figure out by looking at the London 2012 Olympics. He was unstoppable during the Olympics, his scoring percentage went way up, his whole attitude towards every game was just great. But then again, he played with the best players in the world on his team therefore the pressure was off. Nevertheless he carried the team when it was needed. Overall a great summer for him. What do you do when you are doing something good, KEEP ON DOING IT! That simple! He carried his experience, attitude and trust towards teammates from the Olympics and brought to his team, the Knicks. They are now sitting second place in Eastern Conference with 9-3.
Melo is now averaging: PPG: 25.6, RPG: 6.60 and APG: 2.1, and currently is on 3rd place in NBA overall stats behind LA Kobe Bryant and OKC Kevin Durant.
Carrying his team to winning and involving his teammates as well makes him a good leader, therefore the speculations and predictions about MVP race continues....
Still too early to tell, but keep your eyes open, he might take it home!
