NBA Christmas Day

Houston Rockets led by James Harden won over Chicago Bulls. Rockets had control for the beginning and there was no turning back.

Clippers is making history, 14th straight win. They won, and had a lot of fun doing it specially Jamal Crawford who had game high 22 points.

Celtics, well they have the most championships in the NBA and you should never count them out when it really matters. Christmas day and everyone is watching you, they handled their business like a championship team.

Knicks and Lakers, what a game. They fought from the beginning to the end, Chandler fouled out, World Peace fouled out, pure tough game for both team. J.R. Smith was unstoppable, Melo was unstoppable but in the end it was Nash and Kobe's game to win. Lakers won but not by much 100-94.

NBA Finals last season, OKC and Heat met again and this time Durant got 3 fouls early on which helped the Heat to push harder and go away. But it wasn't that simple, Westbrook did everything he could and later got little bit of contribution from Durant, almost OT but it wasnt enough. LBJ and Wade fought for that win and came out victories.

Great basketball night for the fans.

Youngest player to reach 30,000 points

To Basketball FANS

I'm not done yet......
Kobe Bryant is on fifth place All Time Scoring Leaders with 29,987 points as of today. He needs to make only 13 points next game to become the youngest player to ever reach the 30,000 points mark. Thats a huge accomplishment and milestone.

13 points, can he make it in the next game before half time?

Kobe said "Thats a lot of points" and then laughed about it.

Kobe's to-do-list:
4. Wilt Chamberlain: 31,419  - Possible
3. Michael Jordan: 32,292     -  Possible
2. Karl Malone: 36,928         - TBA
1. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar: 38,387  - I don't know

According to rotoworld.com Kobe scored 1,616 point in the 2011-2012 season, if he continues to play and score the same way, there might be a chance for him to surpass Wilt Chamberlain this season and take 4th place All Time.

Can he take Kareem Abdul-Jabbar record?
Lets say he scores 1600 points a year on average, maybe more maybe less but lets use that as a number.
1year : 1600
2 years: 3200
3 years: 4800
4 years: 6400
5 years?????

Add up:
30,000 (from next game on) + 6400 = 36,400. Places him 3rd place. Only 328point behind Karl Malone at that time but 1,987points away from Kareem IF he plays 4 more years.

Can he? Will he? Should he physically? etc etc....We'll see.

Tune in tonight when they play New Orleans and you can say "I saw when Kobe scored 30,000points"

Stay in Shape

Update:
He scored 29point and became the youngest basketball player to reach the 30,000points milestone. Now he's in a good company with Karl, MJ and Kareem. 30,016 is Kobe's new number TILL next game tips off.
